Ladakh is also known as the ‘Land of High Passes’. It is a region located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Tourist can visit here throughout the year. People residing there are mostly Buddhists and others are Shia Muslims. This festival is celebrated by the Buddhists. Main attractions of this festival are the folk dances, sports, and cultures of the Ladakh. Long procession is going on from the 25th September to 28th September. Beside this they also organize Sports, dances and music by the school children.
