Krimchi is a small village in the Udhampur district of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and is one of the oldest temple complexes of Jammu built in during 11th - 12th century AD, which is also known as the Pandava Temples consisting of 4 large and 3 small temples dedicated to Lord Shiv. The architecture of the temples shows distinct Greek (Hellenic) influences. As per the legends, Raja Kichak of Mahabharat was said to be the creator of town Krimchi and the Kingdom. It is also said that Pandavas while in exile remained there for a long period. The other places to be seen in this famous village are the ruins of Three Ancient Temples and are believed to be the oldest temples in the state of Jammu and Kashmir built in Greek architecture which is situated on a stone complex and a small stream flows nearby. There are sculptures of deities like Ganesh, Shiva and Parvati. The main temple is around 50 feet high. On their way to these temples, pilgrims usually stop over at the sarai Krimchi. Travel to Krimchi automatically means a tour to Sudhmahadev-Mantalai Shrine. At a little distance from Krimchi lies Pancheri, which is a picturesque Hill Resort.
