Bageshwar is a district in the state of Uttarakhand situated in the foothills of mountains. It is in the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand. It is also known as the Land of Shiva. The Bagnath Temple, Bageshwar: The Bagnath temple is the main tourist attraction in Bageshwar. It is a must visiting tourist place. This temple is dedicated to Bageshwar or Vyaghreshwar, the Tiger Lord, who is considered as an avatar of Lord Shiva. This temple was constructed by then Kumaon King Laxmi Chand in 1450CE.
