Mumbai is a cosmos city and the capital of the state Maharashtra.   • The Gateway of India, Mumbai: The Gateway of India is one of the most popular and magnificent monument that was built during the 20th century in Mumbai City.   • Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai: Formerly, it was known as Victoria Terminus. It is a historic railway station and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India. In March 1996, the name was changed to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. The station was designed by the consulting British architect Frederick William Stevens that is the main attraction for every visitor.
  • Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai: Siddhivinayak Temple is a Hindu temple that is dedicated to Lord Ganesha (son of Lord Shiva). The architecture of the temple portrays elegance and beauty built in the year 1801. It is a temple frequently visited by celebrities and over 25,000 devotees visit this sacred temple each day.
  • The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai: This is also commonly known as The Prince of Wales Museum. It is one of the most significant museums in India.   • Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Mumbai: It is a Roman Catholic Basilica commonly known as Mount Mary Church. It stands on a hillock, about 80 meters above sea level overlooking the Arabian Sea. It is dedicated to Virgin Mary and the shrine attracts people from all faiths who pray to Virgin Mary.
  • Kamala Nehru Park, Mumbai: This is the oldest children’s park that was named after the wife of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. It is popular for an interesting-shoe-like-structure. It is also called as the Old Woman’s Shoe. Because of this unique structure, the park has also been popularized as the Shoe Park. Good for family picnic.
  • The Bandra Worli Sea Link, Mumbai: Officially it is called as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link. This bridge was built to cater around 37,500 vehicles per day while reducing the time travel between Bandra and Worli by a big margin. It is one of the modern architectural spectacles of India which was built by Hindustan Construction Company. Best for roaming and photography.
  • The Rajabai Clock Tower, Mumbai: The Rajabai Clock Tower is a clock tower located in South Mumbai. The tower stands at a height of 85 m. The tower was built in a fusion of Venetian and Gothic styles. This tower was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott who was an English architect.
  • Hanging Gardens of Mumbai: Hanging Garden of Mumbai gives you an unforgettable walk. It would be a nice break and most seeking place to relax that is away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s a great place for jogging. The water fountains put on during the evening add to the charm of the place. It is also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens.
  • Girgaum Chowpatty Beach, Mumbai: It is also commonly known as Chaupati. It is one of the best beach for public to roam around adjoining Marine Drive in the Girgaon area of Mumbai. Chowpatty means four channels or four creeks. But the beach is not good for swimming as it is most polluted one. It is place where the 'RAMLILA' is performed on a stage every year.
