Panchkula is one of the major and well planned city of Haryana. Situated just 10 kms from Chandigarh, the headquarters of the Indian Army's Western Command is located here. This amazing town is surrounded with dense forests. The name of the city Panchkula is derived from the local word “Panch” (five) and “Kula” (canals), which means “The city of five canals"

Cactus Garden, Panchkula: It is the biggest one in Asia which harbours huge collection of rare and endangered cactus species. Cactus belonging to the same growth and genera are collected here. The garden aims to save and preserve these endangered species and has thoroughly kept up to the objective.

Kali Mata Mandir, Panchkula: It is situated on NH 22. It run across Kalka town. This ancient temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and as such is one of the famous Hindu pilgrimage site. Huge crowd throngs here during the Navratri celebration.

Mansa Devi Temple, Panchkula: It is one of the wanted pilgrimage destination amongst Hindus. It is dedicated to Mansa Devi or Shakti. Spreading over 100 acres of land, the temple nestles at the foothills of Shivalik hills.

Yadavindra Garden Pinjore, Panchkula: It is built by Patiala Dynasty rulers, the garden resembles Mughal style. It was created during the reign of Aurangzeb in 17th century. It is in the vicinity of River Kaushalya and Jhajjar which are the tributaries of Ghaggar. It also has historical and religious significance as the name is derived from Panchpura
