  • Ganapatipule Beach, Ratnagiri: Ganapatipule Beach is located 28 km away from Ratnagiri. It is one of the most popular beach named after Lord Ganesha (a Hindu deity). It is a unique blend of both devotion and adventure. The beautiful views of sunset and unique white sand which is rarely found on Indian beaches has made this beach one of the most popular tourist visiting beach in India.
  • Marleshwar Temple, Ratnagiri: This is an ancient Hindu temple in Ratnagiri. Marleshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva situated on an isolated hill and is thoroughly surrounded by a dense network of evergreen forest. It also provides a beautiful view of the nearby mountains and is surrounded by numerous waterfalls. It is believed that the Shivling of this temple remains surrounded by Cobra snakes throughout the year.
  • Shri Devi Bhagwati Temple, Ratnagiri: Shri Devi Bhagwati Temple is an old temple that is dedicated to Hindu deity Durga. It is situated inside an ancient fort. Surrounded by an abandoned fort, this temple stands as a major centre of faith for the locals of Ratnagiri. Tourist visiting this temple can witness numerous styles of painted walls, sculptures and stone carved pillars.
  • Jaigadh Fort, Ratnagiri: Jaigadh Fort is another popular tourist attraction that is located at the tip of a peninsula in Ratnagiri District. From the up of the cliffs, tourist can overlook a bay formed where the Shastri river enters the Arabian Sea. Jaigad Fort & Lighthouse were built by the Britishers in 1932. There is a jetty port Angrey, and a lighthouse located nearby.
  • Prachin Konkan, Ratnagiri: Prachin Konkan is an open-air museum famous for the wood artisans and their handicrafts in wood. It is a famous tourist visiting place that displays the grandeur of the history of Konkan region. This museum will take you through various aspects of life in Konkan in the past.
  • Ratnadurg Fort, Ratnagiri: Ratnagiri Fort is one of the most popular fort in the district of Ratnagiri. It is surrounded by the Arabian Sea from three sides. There is one small temple of Hanumanji and a temple of the Goddess Bhagwati is located inside the fort.  It is indeed a beautiful view especially in rainy season.
  • Swayambhu Ganpati Temple, Ratnagiri: This temple is one of the most striking and renowned tourist attraction in the district of Ratnagiri. It is situated at about 20 km from Ratnagiri. It is a holy place gets enchanted with the early morning nagara sound.
