Sirsa is one of the major a city of Haryana. Bordering with Punjab and Rajasthan, it is one of the ancient city, which is dated back to the time of the writing of the Mahabharata, its ancient name was Sairishaka. It is believed that once the Sarasvati River flowed in Sirsa. The town is the home of Sirsa Air Force Station of Indian Air Force.

Dera Baba Sarsai Nath, Sirsa: It is believed that Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan paid a visit to Dera Baba Sarsai Nath to seek blessings for the recovery of his ailing son. He also donated land to the temple and constructed a dome over it.
