Auli is a beautiful hill station dotted with lush greenery with orchards and deodars situated amidst the Himalayan range. It lies on the way to the Hindu pilgrimage destination of Badrinath. In Garhwali, it is also known as Auli Bugyal, which means “meadow”. There is a small temple that has connection to Ramayana (one of the Hindu epic).  It is a popular tourist destination for best skiing and paragliding spot. For this, Auli is also called as “The skiing destination of India”. It provides enough thrills to professional skiers as this place is blessed with invigorating view of Himalayas mountains. Journey to this exotic place is an exciting one and tourist can enjoy the mesmerizing views of the snow-draped mountains of Himalayas. Tourist can view of famous Himalayan peaks like Nanga Parbat, Ghori Parbat, Nanda Devi, Beethartol and Nikanth Hathi Parbat from here.   • Trishul Peak, Auli: Trishul Peak is one of the most popular skiing tourist destination in the state of Uttarakhand. This peak is situated at a height of 23,490 ft. above sea level. This is one of the only places in India where skiing is practiced in a professional scale. It is famous for its skiing slopes and the Nanda Devi National Park. There is a popular lake named as Roopkund Lake popularly known as the ‘Mystery Lake’. This place is famous for the 600 skeletal remains of humans and horses found in the lake.
  • Auli Ski & Snowboard School, Auli: Auli Ski & Snowboard School is one of the most famous learning Skiing and Snowboarding in India. It is aspiring to put Auli on international map as one of the preferred skiing destination.
