Chamba is a popular hill station in the state of Uttarakhand. Chamba has a great historical significance. Raja Shahil Varman established Chamba as capital of his kingdom in 920AD. He named this place as Champavati, who was his daughter. Later the name was corrupted to Chamba. It possesses an unparallel scenic beauty. It is also known as “The Land of Hill Kingdoms, Temples and Monasteries”. It is a perfect holiday destination surrounded by snowcapped mountains and lush greenery forest.
