Harsil is an unexplored valley. This beautiful valley is filled with oak and deodar trees. The valley offers tourist some of the most peaceful spots. It is a virgin village of Uttarakhand. Harsil was popular for the legend of ‘Pahari’ Wilson, or Raja Wilson. It is a hidden jewel of the state Uttarakhand. Tourist can experience serenity and solitude amidst the lap of nature which is nestled amidst the beautiful Kumaon Himalayas. Trekking is the best way to explore this tourist destination. The landscape in Harsil is dotted with many small temples. Tourist can visit temples while visiting Harsil. It is a best adventurous place.   • Wilson Cottage, Harsil: Wilson Cottage is the main attraction in Harsil. It was built in the year 1864. There is a great love story. He fell in love with a local girl of Harsil whose name was Gulabi. He built a double-storied house in Harsil for his wife. Tourist can see still see some photograph of Wilson and his Garhwali wife Gulabi.
  • Dharali, Harsil: Dharali is located at 6km from Harsil. It is a picturesque hamlet situated on the bank of river Ganges. This is another tourist attraction place which is famous for Apple orchards and Rajma cultivation.
