Bikaner is amidst the desert land of the state Rajasthan known for producing the best riding camels in the world. It is a land of majestic palaces and beautiful havelis lies in the northern part of Rajasthan. In 1486, Maharaja Rao Bika, son of Maharaja Rao Jodha founded this beautiful city Bikaner. It is characterized by numerous sand dunes and is also well known to have the biggest Camel Research and Breeding farms in the world. Bikaner is also known as ‘Camel Country’ as they are the prime helpers that makes the local people easier for loading goods from one place to another. Bikaner is well-known for variety of sweet dishes and also famous for its savory Bikaneri Bhujia. This city can be well defined by magnificent fortified city created with delicacy in reddish-pink sandstone that holds its rich historical and architectural legacy. It has become one of the most interesting tourist destinations in the heritage state of Rajasthan.   • Junagarh Fort, Bikaner: Junagarh Fort is also known as Bikaner Fort. It is one of the old forts in the city of Bikaner located in the Thar Desert region of the state Rajasthan. It is bordered on the North West by the Aravalli range. This fort was built Raja Rai Singh between the years of 1589 -1594 AD. Most interesting places to visit here are the Chandra Mahal, with paintings, mirrors and carved marble panels, the Phool Mahal, the Karan Mahal, the Anoop Mahal, and others. Most of the tourists are attracted by the architecture and paintings.
  • Lalgarh Palace, Bikaner: Lalgarh is another popular tourist destination in Bikaner. It was constructed in the year 1902. It is one of the most attractive towards every traveller. It was perfectly built in Indo- Saracenic architectural style and was founded by Maharaja Ganga Singhji. In present, it is used as heritage hotel for famous personalities from all over the world. This palace is a must visit.
  • Bhandasar Jain Temple, Bikaner: Bhandasar Jain temple is one of the famous temples in the city of Bikaner. It is a Jain temple and an important religious place for Jainism. This temple was constructed in the year 1468 and completed in 1514. This Jain temple is dedicated to 5th Jain Tithankar named Suminath. It gives you a peaceful environment that makes you feel refreshed and energetic.
