Anjuna beach is in Anjuna which is a small census town located in Goa. Anjuna like most of Goa was once held by Portuguese and is known for St. Michael's Church which was founded in 1595. The beach became famous globally during 60s with the rise of Hippie culture and attract tourists from world over. The beach is known for trans-parties or beach parties and flee market. The parties are common during the tourist season and flee market is hosted on every Wednesdays, where tourists can find variety of things ranging from jewellery, clothing to edibles like fruit and fresh sea catches.
