Mahabaleshwar is a beautiful hill station and a perfect tourist destination for every traveler, situated at a height of 1,372 meters above sea level. Mahabaleshwar is also known as the Queen of all Hill Stations. It is the highest hill station in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra surrounded by the Lake Venna. In Sanskrit, Mahabaleshwar means “God of Great Power”. This hill station was established in 1829 as a recreational getaway.
