Coorg is located amidst the beauty and tranquility of hills. This unspoiled “country of million hills”, is situated on the slopes of the Western Ghats. Officially, Coorg is known as Kodagu and is an astonishing land in the heart of the southern India.  Coorg is also known as “The Scotland of India".  It is a perfect gateway from the hustle and bustle life of city life. Main Attractions
  • Abbey falls: This falls is also spelled as Abbi Falls and Abbe Falls. It is located in Kodagu, in the Western Ghats in Karnataka. Earlier it was called as Jessi falls named after a British officer's wife. Later, it was discovered by Mr. Neravanda B. Nanaiah. This beautiful waterfalls leads to a small trek through the coffee and spices plantations.
  • Irupu Falls: It is also known as Iruppu Falls. Irupu falls is a major tourist attraction as well as a pilgrimage spot too. En route to this falls, there is a famous Shiva temple named as the Rameshwara Templethat is situated on the banks of the river Lakshmana Tirtha River. This attracts a number of pilgrims at the time of Shivaratri (a Hindu festival that is dedicated to Lord Shiva).
  • Mandalpatti View point: It is an awesome road trip that is highly recommended for adventure lovers and nature lovers too. It has become one of the most favorite destinations for travelers. Soak in the magical aura of Coorg and fall in love with the greenery during the trek. Before planning for a visit pack some food and water with you.
  • Bylakuppe Golden Temple: It is also known as Bailakuppe in Kannada and Balakupé in Tibetan. It is a Buddhist Golden Temple and a worth visiting place. This is a residing place for thousands of Tibetans who have been living in exile since many decades. This Golden Temple is also called as Namdroling Monastery. In the year of 1963, it was established by His Holiness Pema Norbu Rinpoche.
  • The Romantic Raja’s Seat: It is located in the heart of the city. It is a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. It is a spectacular spot for sunset view. It is said that the kings of Kodagu used to enjoy glorious sunsets from here. It offers a spectacular view of green mist-laden mountains beyond the valley. It is a famous tourist visiting destinations throughout the year.
  • Mallalli Falls: It is one of the best waterfalls in Coorg. Visiting to this falls one can enjoy a splendid view in the middle of the forest. Tourist should avoid this place during rainy season. This waterfall came from the Kumaradhara River. It is wonderful place to visit family and friends.
  • Omkareshwara Temple: This temple is situated in the town of Madikeri in Coorg, Karnataka. Omkareshwara Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a popular Hindu religious place where one can see a large number of tourists and devotees regularly. Best time to visit this temple is between the months of October to March.
  • Talacauvery and Bhagamandala:  It is a famous pilgrimage center that is dedicated to Goddess Goddess Kaveriamma. A tank has been erected on a hillside by Kodavas. It is generally considered to be the source of the river Kaveri and is holy place to bathe on special days.
