Khajuraho is famous for Heritage tourist destination. Khajuraho falls under the Chhatarpur District of the state Madhya Pradesh. Archaeological Museum, Khajuraho: This is an open-air museum which was known as Jardine Museum. The Archaeological Survey of India took over and renamed it as the Archaeological Museum in the year 1952.
