Dalli Rajhara is a small city located in Balod district. The city is known for its iron ore mines which feed the Bhilai Steel Plant. Dalli Rajhara is a mining township and has two mines in the vicinity. Which are part of Rajhara group of mines. Dalli Rajhara is a self-sufficient town and was developed by Bhilai Steel Plant including infrastructure, hospitals etc. There are many picnic spots near Dalli Rajhara and provide excellent vacation spot. The area around the city is covered with deep dense forest and hills. Burudih dam is one of the most popular picnic spot in the region. Some other places of interest near the area are Saptagiri Park, Dev Pandum, Ganga Maiya Temple in Jhalmala.

  • Jalaram Bappa Mandir, Dalli Rajhara: It is one of the most auspicious temple attraction, located in Dalli Rajhara city. The temple is a seva samiti site built in commemoration of Saint Sant Shri Jalaram Bappa who was renowned to heal and help people suffering from various ailments and preached them to stay away from worldly pleasures, desires and wants.
  • Dalli Rajhara Iron Ore Mines, Dalli Rajhara: These are known for the extraction of iron ore deposits that are considered to be BIF (Banded Iron Formations) representing the Chilpi formation of Pre-Cambrian period.
  • Saptagiri Park, Dalli Rajhara: It is one of the most popular amusement parks and picnic spots in Dalli-Rajhara city. Locals are seen frequenting the park for morning walks, playing games and relaxing on a daily basis.
  • Hanuman Mandir, Dalli Rajhara: It is a prominent tourist attraction dedicated to Lord Hanuman ji. Devotees celebrate Hanuman Jayanti, the birthday of Lord Hanumanji with great respect and devotion at this temple.
  • Rajhara Dam, Dalli Rajhara: The Dam is an attractive picnic spot. The adjacent hills and forests are home to many species of wildlife.
  • Rajhara Baba Mandir, Dalli Rajhara: It is visited by large number of local people on regular basis. The entire region wears a festive look during the time of celebrating occasions that are of religious importance. There is a pond located nearby that is used by people for recreational purpose.
