Kochi is one of the popular tourist destinations in the state of Kerala. Formerly Kochi was known as Cochin. Kochi is popularly known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. The name Kochi got its name from the Malayalam word ‘Kochazhi’ that means ‘small lagoon’. The Chinese Fishing Nets, Kochi: It is one of the most famous tourist attraction in Kochi. The Chinese Fishing Nets of Kochi is believed to be have been introduced in Kochi by Chinese explorer Zheng He. It was established between 1350 and 1450 AD.
