Main Attractions
  • Laxminarayan Temple, Rayagada: This is a major tourist attraction places in the district of Rayagada. It is located at 25km from Rayagada District Headquarter. This temple was built over 14years back by the IMFA. Hundreds of devotees come here to worship the deities inside this temple including - Laxminarayan, Hanuman, Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra and Lord Shiva.
  • Paikapada, Rayagada: It is another popular tourist attraction in Rayagada. Paikapada is famous for its Pataleshwar Shiva temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. A large number of devotees come here to worship about 99,99,999 shivlingams which are located here.
  • Maa Markama Temple, Rayagada: It is only shrine Shakti peethas of Devi Maa Markama. The temple of Maa Karkama (believed to be the sister of Maa Markama) is situated next to the temple of Maa Markama. Festivals like Dussehra and Chaitra Paraba are celebrated every year at the temple.
  • Hatipathar, Rayagada: Hatipathar is another popular tourist destination in Rayagada where one can witness the two lovely waterfalls on the river Nagavali.  It is also an ideal place for picnic and enjoy the nature’s beauty. The name has been derived from two Oriya words, ‘Hati’ means Elephant and ‘Pathar’ means boulder.
  • Maa Majhighariani Temple, Rayagada: It is a famous shrine where many people come from all over India to worship this shrine. It is a pilgrimage place in Rayagada district of Odisha. The temple is famous for Chaitra-Parba festival that observes puja conducting so many Tribal function near to the temple.
