Pelling is one of the most beautiful town in the state of Sikkim. Pelling is a prominent hill stations nestled in the grand Himalayas well-known for its tranquility and scenic beauty. The history of this town is believed to be the first capital of Sikkim ruled by the Namgyal dynasty, which is often referred to as the Chogyal dynasty over the kingdom between 1642 and 1975. It was established as kingdom by fifth-generation descendants of Guru Tashi, who was a prince of House Minyak from the Kham district of Tibet.
