Kufri is a small but extremely popular hill station located in Shimla district of Himanchal Pradesh. Located at an elevation of about 2300 meters Kufri is one of the highest in the region. Kufri receives considerable snowfall during winters and hence is seen as popular skiing destination. Kufri is also home to a Zoo which features rare Himalayan wild animals from rare antelopes to snow leopards and birds such are Himalayan Monal.
