This Archaeological Museum Kondapur in Kotagadda in the east and Kondapur village in the Medak district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh in the south and displays a huge range of antiques found during the excavations between 1940 and 1942. It has a main hall which displays a large number of ancient relics such as pottery, terracotta figures, bone and shell relics, metal artifacts, talismans, pendants, beads, inscribed pottery antiques, coins, brick tiles, sharpening stones, molded bricks and designed panels and two galleries in enclosed corridors which displays, pre-historic accessories and ancient fossils. One can also see periodic materials, some sculptures and two inscribed jars. It also has a number of ancient silver and lead coins and a gold coin of the Roman Emperor Augustus, which was discovered in Kondapur and was used as a currency in the period between 37 BC and 14 AD.
