The ‘Classic Nepal & Bhutan’ trip of ours is not only an epic journey to take but a cultural and emotional extravaganza with natural explorations as icing on the cake. This trip combines the heritage, lifestyle, and adventurous exploration of the two countries. Travel with us on this trip to witness mesmerizing views of Annapurna range and Tiger’s Nest, boat and hike, visit temples and Dzongs, jeep safari in Chitwan and last but not the least, indulge in Buddhist heritage of the two Himalayan countries. Witness the similarity in culture influenced with Buddhism and how they differentiate when merged with Hindu culture. This exhilarating journey of two iconic Himalayan countries is sure going to take your breath away. The duration of this trip is 11 nights and 12 days.
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, and transfer to your pre booked hotel. Post breakfast and visit Pashupatinath temple. Our leader will help you understand the culture and beliefs associated with the temple and the holy river ‘Bagmati’. Return back to the hotel for lunch and explore the restaurants and shops of Thamel in the evening.

Post breakfast visit Swayambhunath, Durbar Square and Boudhanath. Soak yourself in the aroma of these worship places and pray for your loved ones. In the evening we have arranged a live music performance.

Today we will drive to Chitwan post breakfast. Post arrival and lunch we will explore the streets of the town in the evening on cycles.

Post breakfast we set off to explore the flora and fauna of Chitwan National park on Jeep Safari. We will have our packed lunch in the wilderness and everyone is expected to not leave behind any trash.

After breakfast we will drive to Pokhara. Post lunch visit the International mountain museum, gupteshwar cave and World peace pagoda.

Wake up early for a sunrise visit to Sarangkot. Be amazed at the beauty of Annapurna range and breathe in fresh air with a hot cup of tea. Return back to the hotel and post breakfast visit phewa lake and Barahi temple. Evening is free for leisure.

Post breakfast visit the Chuzom, rivers Paro Chhu and Wong Chhu merge here. We will also visit three stupas nearby reflecting different architectural styles of Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Later we will visit Tachog Lhakhang on our way to Paro. Tachog Lhakhang has a breathtakingly beautiful view of an iron chain bridge decorated and igniting energy through thousands of prayer flags.

Today we will visit the Tiger’s Nest and Kyichu Lhakhang, after having breakfast. Tiger’s Nest is also known as Paro Taktsang and is a temple devoted to Padmasambhava built in 1692. Kyichu Lhakhang is one of the oldest temples of Lord Buddha. In the evening we will see a cultural performance at the hotel.

Post breakfast and check-out from the hotel, proceed to the picturesque Thimphu. En route we will visit the Dumtseg Lhakhang, Ta Dzong National Museum and Paro Rinpung Dzong. Rest of the day at leisure.

After Breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit Memorial Chorten, Farmer’s market, Tashichho Dzong, and Buddha Point. You can buy fresh, organic products and souvenirs at cheap prices. Bhutan has numerous mesmerising sights to capture in camera and make memories. You can ask your leader/guide to stop at places you would like to take pictures so that he can inform the driver accordingly and find you a great angle. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
This day post breakfast we will drive back to Paro. Trip ends with departure to the airport.
