Arrive at Male International Airport, and transfer to the flight for Gan. On arrival check into your pre-booked hotel. We will take a walking tour to get to know the city area better, explore the tropical paradise and lose yourself in the rush of waves. Later in the evening, we will enjoy a Welcome dinner to get to know our fellow travellers better.

After breakfast we will head off for a short lesson on paddling and getting used to breathing underwater with snorkels. We will spend the rest of the time kayaking and thereafter enjoy picnic lunch. Relax after lunch and try snorkeling. Enjoy the magical view of the sunset and return back to the hotel.

We will head off to explore the Gan Island, after breakfast. This island’s name translates to ‘village’ and we will visit places on a Jeep Safari. Enjoy this mesmerising ride through the streets and lanes of the island witnessing an array of palm and coconut trees, local lifestyle and feel the scent of sea in the air. We will visit Red Lake, ruins of Buddhist temples and some other historical places scattered across the island. Also explore a fish factory and a vegetable farm. Relax with a cup of tea at a local cafe and relish Maldivian sweet delicacy ‘Hedika’.

This morning, after breakfast we will proceed to a water sports club operated by professionals. Enjoy a few hours of training for scuba diving, rest for a while and thereafter witness the beauty of the sea beneath the waves accompanied by a trainer. If you do not wish to try Scuba diving, please inform beforehand for an alternate activity to be arranged. Return back to the hotel after a fun-filled day.

After breakfast, today we will learn the skill of stand up paddle. Spend some time with the trainer to learn the skill before testing it in water. Later we will explore the island on bicycles. Ride along the Link Road, a promenade of palm trees connecting Gan to the islands of Fonadhoo, Kadhdhoo and Maandhoo, which together make up the largest local community settlement in the Maldives. Relish the ‘kurumba’, coconut water at the end of the ride.

This day after breakfast, you are free to explore the island on your own. You can choose to try a few more water sport activities, relax on the beach or take a speed boat ride to another nearby island for exploration.

Today, after breakfast we will enjoy a live cooking demo. Learn the secrets of traditional Maldivian cuisine. Relish the lunch with a fantastic fruit punch. Later in the evening enjoy cultural performance of traditional dance- Boduberu.
