Gwalior fort is a must visit place in Gwalior. It attracts many foreigners as well as domestic tourists because of its glorious past and history. It was controlled by various rulers over the course of time. The carvings and inscription on the fort walls is beautiful. Like all the other Indian forts, it is an architectural marvel with underground floors with great ventilation and system for communication between different floors much like an intercom. The fort is situated on a hill and provides a beautiful scenic view of the city of Gwalior. There are three main sites for which tickets need to be bought separately which are cheap.
