With its daunting summit soaring high up above the mountain, trekking in Everest Base camp is definitely the adventure for you. The trek will infuse a feeling of accomplishment in you, and at the same time, demand your entire focus, commitment, and hard work. You will travel through the land of Sherpas, known to be an entire tribe of mountain climbers, to arrive at the base camp and get your first glance at the famous Khumbu Icefall. And not just the adventure, the opportunity to click some of the best pictures of the surroundings also presents itself. With spectacular countryside and other adventurous activities, it becomes a paradise for thrill seekers and nature lovers. The duration of this trip is 14 nights and 15 days.
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, and transfer to your pre booked hotel. After check in and breakfast, the rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast we will drive to Kathmandu airport to board the flight for Lukla. Post arrival, we will start our trek to Phakding for 3.5 hours to reach the height of 2652 meters.

Post breakfast, we will trek towards Namche Bazaar to reach the height of 3440 meters. We will stop at Monjo for lunch, a portion after Monjo will be strenuous.

This is a day for acclimatization and we will be resting in Namche Bazaar. It is a place that has everything one can wish for. Coffee shops, Bars, Restaurants and many more things to do. You can visit the Namche Bazaar (Market) and Namche Monastery. A 20 minutes trek from here gives a clear view of Mt. Everest and Lhotse.

A trek of moderate difficulty will take us to Tengboche at the height of 3860 meters.

After breakfast we will trek to dingboche reaching the height of 4360 meters. On the route you will get nice views of Mount Ama Dablam, Imja Valley and Lobuche river.

Today will be an acclimatization day.

We will trek to Thukla (4620 meters) with great views of Mount Pumori and glacial lake.

Today we will trek towards Lobuche making our way through Thukla pass, it is full of mountaineers’ memorials.

This will be a completely glacier route. The total trekking time will be 5 -7 hours and will be moderate.
Overnight stay in Gorak Shep.
The hike to Kala Patthar will be the most difficult part of this trekking expedition. After almost 3 hours of trek we will reach Kala Patthar to view the Peak of Mount Everest. Descend to Periche, total trekking hours will be around 7-8 hours.

Today’s trek will be a moderate trek to Namche Bazaar. We have a little hike before Tengboche and after Phungi Thanga.

We will descend to the height of 2800 meters trekking to Lukla today, the last stretch of trek.

Today we will board our flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, the rest of the day is at leisure.
