Day 1 Arrive Amman (By flight)

Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport, and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. On arrival check-in to the hotel, relax. You can choose to explore the city on your own later.

Overnight stay in Amman.

Day 2 Amman-Jerash-Amman

After breakfast we will head off to the ancient city of Jerash. The city reveals a fine example of the grand, formal provincial Roman urbanism that is found throughout the Middle East. Later explore the city of Amman-commonly known as the 'white city' due to its sheer number of white limestone buildings. We will visit the Citadel, a Roman Theatre, The Umayyad Palace and the Byzantine Church.

Return back to the hotel for overnight stay in Amman. 

Day 3 Amman-Petra (03 hours approx.)

This morning after having breakfast we will drive off on King’s Highway leading us to Petra. You will get to see several rural villages, outlook on countryside lifestyle and wadis (valley of desert and oasis). En route at Madaba we will visit Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Later hike up to Mount Nebo for the spectacular views of the place. Further on our way visit Kerak Castle. After arrival and check in, relax or explore the city on your own.

Overnight stay in Petra. 

Day 4 Petra-Wadi Rum (02 hours approx.)

We will head off to explore the ancient Nabatean city of Petra, after breakfast. This city sits on the lap of canyons and hills on the edge of Wabi Aruba. Be amazed with the freestanding structures and enter through Siq (the gateway to the site). You will get to see some impressive parts of the city such as the Khazneh (Treasury), Roman amphitheatre, colonnaded streets and the Monastery. After the exciting day of exploration and many pictures as memories, we will drive to a camping site nearby.

Overnight stay in camps at Wadi Rum. 

Day 5 Wadi Rum-Dead Sea (04 hours approx.)

After breakfast, today we will enjoy some jeep safari on the deserted paths of Wadi Rum. Later we will drive to the Dead sea. Enjoy the scenery and learn from your tour guide/leader about the history of the place. Later enjoy floating on the Dead Sea and relax.

We will return to Amman for our overnight stay in the Hotel. 

Day 6 Amman-Cairo (1.5 hours flight)

This morning after breakfast we will depart to the airport to board a flight to Cairo. Arrive at Cairo International Airport, and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. On arrival check-in to the hotel and relax.

Day 7 Cairo-Luxor (1.5 hours flight)

After breakfast we will head off for a day excursion to see the pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Click quite a few pictures of the Sphinx and Pyramids capturing their massiveness. Later we will drive to Saqqarah and thereafter drive to Memphis, visit the biggest statue of King Ramses the great. Later we will board a flight to Luxor.

Overnight stay in Luxor. 

Day 8 Luxor-Aswan (3 hours approx.)

This morning, after breakfast, we will visit the architectural beauty- Karnak Temple, the ruins of ancient churches with marvelous paintings and the Abu Haggag Mosque. The place represents the presence of three religions at one site and the harmony among them. We will drive to Aswan and meet a local family here and learn from them about their culture and traditions. Enjoy the cooking demo and relish traditional dinner.

Day 9 Aswan-Luxor (Felucca Cruise)

Today, after breakfast we will hop on a speed boat to visit Temple of Philae. Soak in the beauty of the island complex. We will return back to the bank of the river and take a camel ride through the sands on the far bank of the Nile to St. Simeon's monastery. Thereafter, we will check out and board on a felucca. Enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful scenes on the banks of the river Nile, see the rural lifestyle and enjoy the meals on board. At night we will moor up and sleep on the deck under the stars with mattress, blankets and mosquito nets provided. The local experience of sleeping on feluccas is basic but memorable and adventurous. If you wish not to sleep on a felucca, we can book you a hotel and to & fro transfers for more comfort on extra payment.

Overnight onboard. 

Day 10 Luxor

After breakfast, today we will bid goodbyes to the felucca crew and visit Edfu temple en route Luxor. On arrival, check in and relax. We will visit a beautifully lit smaller Luxor temple in the late evening. Thereafter, we will drive to the west bank of the Nile river. Also known as the ‘Valley of Kings and the Queens’, Luxor has several tombs and memorial temples. We will visit Colossi of Memnon: the two enthroned statues of Amenhotep III, Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, valley of the Kings & the queens- which contain several tombs of the royal family and Tomb of the Nobles. You can choose to enjoy the view of the city from a hot air balloon at your own expense.

Overnight stay in Luxor. 

Day 11 Luxor-Cairo (1.5 hours flight approx.)

This morning we will board another flight back to Cairo, after breakfast. After arrival and check in, we will visit the City of the Dead, Saqqarah, Memphis, Synagogue Ben Ezra, Pharaonic Village and Baron Empain Palace. Spend the rest of the time exploring the local market, Khan el-Khalili. You can choose to buy local handicrafts and apparels or souvenirs.

Return back to the hotel for overnight stay. 

Day 12 Cairo

This morning after breakfast, we will visit Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Later we will visit Coptic area of Cairo and the fortress of Babylon. Within the campus of the fortress is the church of St. Mary’s well known as the Hanging Church. Lastly we will visit St. Sergius, known to be the resting place for the holy family.

Day 13 Cairo

Trip ends with departure transfer to the airport after check out at predefined time.
