After breakfast we will head off towards the south of the Island. We will start our day tour with a visit to Waitomo Caves. Enjoy a boat ride and witness the beauty of glow worms. Later explore the Hobbiton Movie set and ‘Middle Earth’ in Matamata.

This whole day is meant for exploration in and around Rotorua. Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve, Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife and enjoy a farm show in Agrodome. Finish the day tour with relishing on Maori Hangi, a traditional dish of New Zealand while enjoying a live performance.

After breakfast, morning is free for you to explore on your own. In the afternoon we will drive back to Auckland. The rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own.
