Highlights of Nagaland

Day 1 Arrive Kohima (By flight/road)

Arrive at Kohima Airport/joining point, and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After check in, relax. In the evening, head out for a guided walking tour followed by a tribal dance performance.

Day 2 Kohima

This morning after breakfast, we will visit Nagaland State Museum, Kohima Cathedral and Durgabari Temple. Later, head towards Naga Heritage village to learn about the rich tradition and culture of Nagas. Relish a traditional meal. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Kohima

Wake up early this morning for a hike to Puliebadze. You will be able to witness spectacular views of the valley and the sunrise. Enjoy a hot cup of tea in the pleasant weather. Return back to the hotel to freshen up and dig into the sumptuous breakfast. Post breakfast, we will enjoy exploring local markets including Mao Market. You will be able to pick some souvenirs and other local specialities. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 Kohima

After breakfast, visit the holy Cathedral of Reconciliation and the War Cemetery. Later, head towards Bara Bast- the second largest village in Asia. Witness the Naga culture and custom in a realistic way. Thereafter, explore Kisama heritage village, Jakhama village and Kigwema village of the Angami tribe to learn about their traditions, cuisine and some dance movements.

Day 5 Kohima

A free day for you to explore more on your own. You may choose to hike around, visit the local handloom factory or go on a shopping spree or simply relax in the hotel.

Trip ends with check out at a predefined time after breakfast.
