Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Chennai (By flight)

Arrive at Chennai International Airport, and transfer to your pre booked hotel. On arrival check-in to the hotel & relax. Visit Kapaleeshwarar Temple and Fort St. George, Later, you may choose to explore the amenities of the hotel or unwind at Marina beach on your own.

Overnight stay in Chennai. 

Day 2 Chennai – Mahabalipuram (Approx. 1.5 hours drive)

This morning after breakfast we will drive to Mahabalipuram- the majestic shore temples are located here. You will visit the Group of monuments in Mahabalipuram including the shore temple. Also visit the Varaha Cave, Descent of the Ganga, Krishna’s Butterball, Sthalasayana Perumal Temple and Pancha Rathas. Spend the rest of the time as you may like.

Day 3 Mahabalipuram – Chennai – Cochin (By Flight and approx. 1.5 hours drive)

Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Chennai airport to board a flight to Cochin. On arrival in Cochin, our representative will assist with the transfer. Check in at the pre booked resort. Later, you'll go to places like Marine Drive, see Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace, Fort Cochin, a historic town, and St. Francis Church. In the evening catch a Kathakali Dance Performance. Spend the night in the comfort of the hotel.

Day 4 Cochin – Munnar (Approx. 04 hours drive)

Wake up refreshed and enjoy your breakfast. Later, proceed to check out and transfer to the lovely Munnar-famed of the sprawling tea estates. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy free time at leisure.

Day 5 Munnar

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then head out to visit Christ Church, the Rajamala Hills, Top Station, Eravikulam National Park and Tea factory. Then explore Mattupetty Dam.

Day 6 Munnar – Alleppey (Approx. 05 hours drive)

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey. Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts. Enjoy the scenery as you cruise through the backwaters.

Day 7 Alleppey – Cochin – Goa (Approx. 02 hours drive and a flight)

After a delicious breakfast, get out of the houseboat because you'll be taken to Cochin today. You will get dropped off at the airport to board a flight to Goa. On arrival in Goa, you will be assisted with a transfer to the accommodation.

Day 8 Goa

After breakfast, enjoy an exploratory day in Old Goa and the capital city of Panjim. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, with the remains of St. Francis Xavier, and the domed Church of St. Cajetan, inspired by St. Peter’s in Rome along with many other places. Return to your hotel after an eventful day for overnight stay.

Day 9 Goa

Spend a relaxing day at the Palolem beach after breakfast. Choose to sunbathe or explore the nearby Galgibaga Beach or Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. You may spend the evening exploring local beach markets selling handicrafts and souvenirs.

Day 10 Goa – Mumbai (By Flight)

This morning after breakfast, pack your bags and check out. You will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Mumbai. Your guide will meet you at the airport in Mumbai when you arrive and drive you to your hotel. Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, is regarded as the financial hub of India. It is also the richest and most industrialised city in all of India. Head onto the Dharavi Tour- World’s largest slum area and an inspiration of the movie ‘Slumdog  Millionaire”. Also notice Mumbai's famous dabbawalla system- from procuring the packed tiffins from homes to their distribution across the vast city in itself calls for amazement. You will also take a short tour of Dhobi ghat. Later, enjoy the evening at Juhu Chowpatty and relish some street food. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

Day 11 Mumbai

A power packed day awaits you after breakfast! Your guide will take you to the Elephanta Caves after breakfast, which are an hour's ferry ride from Mumbai. Since at least the 19th century, there have been rumours concerning who sculpted the caves and when they were created. The caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Excerpts from Hindu mythology are shown in the engravings. You will take a ferry and a tourist train to get to the caves' entrance. You'll have a tour of Mumbai later on in the afternoon. Stops include the Gateway of India, Mumbai's most famous monument, which was built there in 1924 to honour King George V's visit to the country when it was still a colony. Additionally, you'll pass the Afghan Church and go along Marine Drive, commonly known as the "Queen's Necklace" because at night, when viewed from above, the streetlights resemble a string of pearls. Then, you'll stop by the Siddhivinayak Temple, the Hanging Gardens, Chowpatty, Kamala Nehru Park, and Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi resided when he paid a visit to Mumbai. All of these places provide breathtaking views of the city. Last but not least, you'll pass the Haji Ali Dargah, a tomb honouring a Muslim saint that is situated on an offshore island that is connected to the mainland by a causeway. Return back to the hotel after an eventful day for a restful night.

Day 12 Mumbai

Spend a free day in Mumbai after breakfast. Explore the other gems of the city either with your guide’s assistance on extra payment or on your own. You may choose to shop around at Colaba causeway or fashion street. Catch a movie or taste some local delicacies. After a fun filled exploration day, return to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 13 Departure Day

Have a hearty breakfast before checking out of the hotel. You will then be driven to the airport for your onward journey or back home. Tour ends with lovely memories.
