Day 1 Delhi – Gwalior (365 kms approx)

Morning drive from Delhi to Gwalior. On arrival check in to the hotel. A popular historical city of Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior is a great weekend escape from Delhi. The city is not only popular for its present-day artistic skills but is also known for the valor of its erstwhile Scindia rulers. Furthermore, the historic place is dotted with a number of architectural marvels that are worth exploring. As a matter of fact, numerous elegant temples also enhance the charm of the age-old city.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Gwalior

After breakfast go for city sightseeing. Visit Gwalior Fort – an imposing fort that dominates the entire city, Sun Temple – the most revered shrine in Gwalior, Jai Vilas Palace – a magnificent edifice that epitomizes the traditional Indian culture, Saas-Bahu temple – an 11th-century twin temple, Gujari Mahal – currently in its ruins, the museum exhibits various statues, sculptures and other remains, Teli ka Mandir – a temple with a Dravidian look and North-Indian sculptures, Tomb of Tansen – a beautiful piece of architecture, the tomb of Tansen is a place where the great musician was buried. In the evening you can see the beautiful light and sound show at Gwalior Fort.

Day 3 Gwalior – Delhi (By road 365 kms approx)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Delhi.
