The largest and most characteristic Khajuraho temple belongs to the Western group of temples, which is why it is this group that is the most well-known. The western group includes Kandariya Mahadeo, Chausath Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath Temple, and Lakshmana Temple. The Brahma temple, which has a four-faced lingam, The Vamana temple, which is enriched with pictures of ravishing apsaras at their most seductive, and finally The Javari temple, with its exquisite doorway and lavish carvings, are the temples in the eastern group. Later, proceed for Gwalior. Gwalior and after checking into the hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Today after breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city. You will explore the grand Gwalior Fort, sitting atop a hill and dominating the city. Later, visit Jai Vilas Palace and Museum. This Royal house of the Scindia’s is a thing to marvel at. For the rest of the time, visit the Bada Bazaar- the local market and explore the area on your own. Return to the hotel.
