Overview

‘Classic South India Tour' is the well-designed itinerary which gives you the chance to explore the amazing places in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu: Along with that you will also explore the Ooty which is located on the foothill of Nilgiri, on the height of about 2,240 meter above sea level, it is the most beautiful hill station, located in Tamil Nadu. It is one of the most picturesque place renown for tea and coffee plantation. Apart from this you will also get an opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful hill station in Tamil Nadu, Kodaikanal in Tamil "The Gift of the Forest", located on Western Ghats.

Day 1 Arrival in Mysore (By Flight) – Coorg (Approx 130 Kms)

Arrival at Bangalore and drive to Coorg. Coorg is a famous tourist attraction of Karnataka and is also known as Kodagu. Coorg is spread in an area of around 4000 square Kilometers and is located in the eastern slopes of Western Ghats. Coorg is rich in the natural resources which included timber and spices. Coorg is a hilly terrain with the highest peak of Tadiandamol which highs around 5740 ft. On your arrival at Coorg, check-in at your pre-booked hotel and freshen-up. After Lunch, you will be escorted by our Tour Guide and will be taken for Coorg sightseeing. Today`s tour highlights will be Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwar temple, Raja Seat Mantapa. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel and relax. Here you have successfully completed your fourth day of Western Ghats of South India Tour.

Day 2 Coorg Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will be escorted by our Tour Guide and will be taken for Coorg sightseeing tour. Today`s tour highlights will be Chettalli Village, Dubare Elephant Camp, Harangi Dam and Abbi Falls. In the afternoon, enjoy regional cuisine in your Lunch at a nice restaurant and continue with the sightseeing. At the end of the tour, return to your Hotel and relax. Here you have successfully completed your fifth day of Western Ghats of South India Tour.

Overnight at Coorg

Day 3 Coorg – Ooty (About 245 Kilometres)

After breakfast drive to Ooty. Check into your pre booked hotel on arrival at Ooty. After freshen up visit the Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak, apart from this you will also get an opportunity to shop at the local markets of Ooty.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel.

Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 4 Ooty

Today after breakfast visit the Koddandu Point, Ketty Valley, Lamb’s Park, Tea Gardens, Dolphin’s Nose, Rose Garden, Avalanche and Sim’s Park.

After sightseeing, return to the Ooty.

Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 5 Ooty – Kodaikanal (About 260 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kodaikanal, On the way, visit the Palani Temples. Check in at the pre booked hotel on arrival at Kodaikanal. After freshen up, proceed for the boating/fishing at the Kodaikanal Lake apart from this you will cover some other major attractions such asSilver Cascade Falls, Bear Shola Falls, Golf Links, Pillar Rocks and Green Valley View. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel.

Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

Day 6 Kodaikanal – Coimbatore (About 170 Kilometres)
