Day 1 Mahabaleshwar

Arrival at Mahabaleshwar railway station meet and greet by local representative then transfer to Hotel. Later visit Mahabaleshwar is famous for the panoramic views of the Sahyadri hills which is best enjoyed just after monsoons when the valleys are covered in a velvety emerald green. Even if you choose not to go boating in Venna lake it’s a must go place in Mahabaleshwar for the stalls near the lake which offer a small village fair environment and offer the best street food option in Mahabaleshwar.

Evening back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 Mahabaleshwar – Panchgani – Mahabaleshwar (20 Kms one way)

After breakfast full day sightseeing Panchgani, Panchgani is a small town on the way up the Pasarani ghat to Mahabaleshwar from Wai. A quaint village Panchgani is well known for the international boarding schools which dot the entire hill town. Panchgani was the pseudo capital of paragliding in Maharashtra however as of now it has been suspended due to government regulations.

Evening back the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 Mahabaleshwar – Pratapgad – Mahabaleshwar (55 Kms approx)

After breakfast full day sightseeing Pratapgad. Built in 1656 by Shivaji, Pratapgad fort was a strategic fort which was commissioned to defend the banks of the Nira and the Koyna rivers, and the Par pass. Pratapgad is famous for the battle between Shivaji and the mighty Afzal Khan in which Afzal Khan was slayed by Shivaji who used a Tiger claw to do so. After the battle Shivaji had a tomb built for Afzal Khan at the fort.

Evening back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 Mahabaleshwar

After breakfast check out from hotel and drop off you at railway station for your journey to home with sweet memories.
