Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Delhi (By flight)

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be met by the Trip India representative who will assist you with your check-in at the pre-booked hotel. After settling in and freshening up, proceed for a visit to Old Delhi. Stroll through the narrow lanes leading to the vibrant spice market, visit the Sikh temple Sheeshganj, and explore the historic Jama Masjid. After a wonderful day of sightseeing, return to your hotel.

Day 2 Delhi to Chandigarh (Approx. 5.5 hours drive)

After breakfast, begin your journey to Chandigarh, a beautifully planned city known for its greenery and charm. En route, visit the renowned Pinjore Gardens, famous for their Mughal-style terraces and serene landscapes. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, check in to your hotel and later proceed to explore the iconic Rock Garden, an extraordinary creation by artist Nek Chand showcasing remarkable sculptures made from recycled materials.

Day 3 Chandigarh to Shimla via Kalka (Approx. 1 hour drive & Toy train ride)

After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, pack your bags and check out. You will then be transferred to Kalka Railway Station to board the famous Himalayan Toy Train, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed experience. As the train winds through the hills, enjoy scenic views of the Shivalik range while covering approximately 96 kilometres to reach Shimla. Upon arrival in Shimla, our representative will meet and assist you with the hotel check-in. In the evening, spend some time exploring the local market area, including Mall Road and Christ Church.

Day 4 Kufri (Excursion Tour)

Wake up refreshed and enjoy a hot breakfast before proceeding for a full-day excursion to Kufri, a charming nearby hill station. En route, visit the historic Viceregal Lodge before continuing your journey to Kufri. Spend your day exploring and taking in the scenic beauty, then return to your Shimla hotel in the evening. The rest of the time is free for leisure.

Day 5 Shimla to Manali (Approx. 08 hours drive)

Start your day with an early breakfast and get ready for a fairly long drive to Manali. En route, stop at Kullu to capture beautiful photographs by the River Beas. Upon reaching Manali, check in to your pre booked hotel and relax.

Day 6 Manali

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Hadimba Temple, Old Manali, Manu Temple, and the spectacular Rohtang Pass. This day is filled with excitement and unforgettable experiences walk through dense pine forests, enjoy the snow, admire ancient architecture, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the mountains.

Note: Rohtang Pass remains closed during the winter season. The visit is subject to weather conditions and permission from the local authorities.

 

Day 7 Manali – Naggar – Manikaran – Manali

Post breakfast, you will be enjoying a full day excursion to Naggar and Manikaran. At Naggar, visit the castle and temple. Notice the intricate designs on wood all across the castle. Continue to Manikaran- a revered Sikh temple surrounded by natural springs of hot & cold water. 
 
Return to Manali hotel for overnight stay.  

Day 8 Manali to Andreta (Approx. 5.5 hours)

Enjoy early breakfast and checkout. You will be transferred to Andreta. On arrival, check in the homestay and then head out to visit Jakhni Mata Temple. Sitting atop the mountain, this temple provides breathtaking views of the valley and the imposing mountains. It is a great place to interact with the locals and learn about the tales associated with the temple. Spend the night at the homestay.

Day 9 Andreta – Masroor – Andreta

Enjoy breakfast and spend some time trying your hand at pottery. Later, drive to the unique Masroor Rock Cut Temples for a memorable visit. After an eventful day, return to your homestay for a restful evening.

Day 10 Andreta to Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj (Approx. 1.5 hours drive)

We will check out of the hotel after breakfast and drive to McLeod Ganj- also known as Upper Dharamshala. En route, you will visit the Norbulingka Institute and Museum along with a photo stop at Dharamshala Stadium- famous for its views. On arrival in McLeod Ganj, check into the hotel and relax. Rest of the time is free for you to explore this place on your own.

Day 11 McLeod Ganj to Dharamkot

After breakfast, visit the Bhagsunag Temple and the nearby waterfall. Continue onward to Dharamkot, a charming and peaceful village. Spend some time interacting with locals and fellow travellers, and enjoy delicious treats at the cozy cafés. Later, visit the residence and monastery of H.H. the Dalai Lama, followed by a visit to St. John’s Church to conclude your day.

Day 12 McLeod Ganj to Dalhousie (Approx. 05 hours drive)

After breakfast, depart for the hill town of Dalhousie, known as a gateway to scenic treks and breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range. Upon arrival, check into your pre booked hotel, and set out to explore the town on foot. Stroll along Garam Sadak, visit St. Francis and St. John’s Churches, and browse through the lively market streets.

Day 13 Khajjiar and Chamba Sightseeing

Spend the day on a full-day excursion to Khajjiar, fondly known as Mini Switzerland, and the beautiful town of Chamba. Enjoy plenty of opportunities to capture stunning photographs with the Himalayan backdrop. Visit the famous Laxmi Narayan Temple in Chamba before returning to your accommodation in Dalhousie for another restful night.

Day 14 Dalhousie to Jammu (Approx. 05 hours drive)

After a delicious and tempting hot breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey to Jammu. En route, visit the ancient Nand Babor Temples. Although now in ruins, these temples reflect their glorious past and showcase traditional Dogra architecture, offering a glimpse into the region’s cultural heritage. Upon arrival in Jammu, check in to your pre-booked hotel and unwind for the night, resting and refreshing yourself for the next day’s adventure.

Day 15 Jammu to Srinagar (By flight)

Wake up early, have breakfast, and proceed to the airport for your flight to Srinagar, the city of snow. Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, check in to your pre-booked houseboat and freshen up. Later, visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens and Shankaracharya Temple, and spend the evening enjoying a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake.

Day 16 Srinagar to Gulmarg (Excursion Tour)

After early breakfast, proceed to the lovely town of Gulmarg. Here, you will enjoy the views of the Himalayas and take a Gondola ride. Spend the day at the Paradise on Earth. Return back to the houseboat for overnight stay.

Day 17 Srinagar to Sonmarg (Excursion Tour)

Spend the day after breakfast enjoying the beauty of Sonmarg. You will drive up to the points where you can click pictures and capture the lovely moments. After an eventful day, return to the Houseboat for an overnight stay.

Day 18 Srinagar to Delhi (By flight)

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and get driven to the airport. You will board your flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport, continue your journey to the next destination or back home.
