This morning after breakfast and check out from the hotel and drive to Rewalsar, on arrive at Rewalsar to visit the Rewalsar Monastery, Tso Pema Monastery and Gurudwara Rewalsar Sahib. Later, hike to witness the towering statue of Guru Rinpoche and enjoy some time boat riding on Rewalsar Lake. End the day with a visit to Mahatma Buddha Temple.

We will check out of the hotel after breakfast and drive to McLeod Ganj- also known as Upper Dharamshala. En route, you will visit the Norbulingka Institute and Museum along with a photo stop at Dharamshala Stadium- famous for its views. On arrival in McLeod Ganj, check into the hotel and relax. Rest of the time is free for you to explore this place on your own.

Wake up early for breakfast and check out for your transfer to Amritsar. Notice the cultural variation as you leave Himachal Pradesh behind and enter the territory of Punjab. From the fresh mountain air to change in the aromatic air of sumptuous cuisines will blow your mind. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax for some time. Later, head out to witness the very famous ‘Change of Guards Ceremony’ at the Wagah Border. Feel the patriotism in the air and pumped-up youths and soldiers. After the ceremony, return to Amritsar and rest of the time is at leisure.

Today after breakfast we will visit the utterly beautiful and blissful Sikh Temple- ‘The Golden Temple’. Learn about Sikhism and their culture while walking through the premises. Also visit ‘Jallianwala Bagh’- where a mass massacre happened on the order of Acting Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer on the festival of ‘Baisakhi’. Walk through the colourful streets to explore more and visit the Partition Museum and past by Khairuddin Mosque. Head back to the Golden Temple during lunch time. You may choose to help and serve in the community kitchen which provides free of cost meals to anyone who wants to come and eat. Also, break bread during ‘langar’ as the lunch of the community kitchen is called. Rest of the day is at leisure. You may choose to buy some colourful scarves adorned with hand embroidery called ‘Phulkari’, or handmade shoes known as ‘Jutis’, and many more things.
