Overview

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin - Thekkady (About 170 Kilometres)

Arrival at Cochin International Airport and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is the small village located in the Idukki district in the state of Kerala. Famous for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Check in at the pre booked hotel on arrival at Thekkady. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 2 Thekkady

Today after breakfast, visit the Periyar Tiger Reserve. It is the main attraction of Thekkady, situated at banks of artificial Lake of Periyar. The Periyar wildlife Sanctuary and Tiger Resave is one of the oldest protected area in the country. One can find Indian tigers, elephants, lion tailed macaques, gaurs, deer, sambars apart from these 45 species of reptiles, 30 species of snakes, 13 lizard species and 2 turtle’s species. Apart from wild life you may also do the boating on the lake. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is must visit attraction of Thekkady. Take pleasure in a walk through the plantations

Day 3 Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom by a speedboat or by a luxury cruiser. Check in to the pre booked hotel on arrival at Kumarakom. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 4 Kumarakom

Today after breakfast, visit the backwater cruise on the placid waters of Lake Vembanad. Explore the Kettuvallaum which is a traditional houseboat. Later visit the surrounding coconut grooves along with the beautiful locations.

Day 5 Kumarakom - Alleppey (About30 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is also known as Alappuzha. Enr oute enjoy the view of coconut palm groves, a popular attraction. Once you reach there, check into the resort. Spend the day in doing leisure activities.

Day 6 Alleppey

Today after breakfast the rest of the day is free at leisure, explore the beautiful backwater and surroundings.

Day 7 Alleppey- Cochin (80 Kilometres)

Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin. Check in to your pre-booked hotel on arrival at Cochin. After freshen up go for sightseeing covering the places such as Bolgatty Palace, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue Alleppey

Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 8 Departure from Cochin
