Ayurvedic Tour of Southern India is well designed package, during the tour you will enjoy rejuvenating meditation and yoga sessions along with refreshing Ayurveda massages apart from this you will also enjoy the local sightseeing’s, stunning beaches, temples, historical sights and many more. This tour will give you the complete relaxation which rejuvenate your mind and body. Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Chennai – Mahabalipuram (About 56 kms)

Tour Highlights: Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount

Upon arrival in Chennai, meet our representative, after welcome, drive to Mahabalipuram.via Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount and Anna Salai. On arrival check in to your pre booked hotel and relax.

Evening is free for leisure.

Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 2 Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (About 100 Kms)

Tour Highlights: Mahishasurmardini caves, the Five Ratha temple, The Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance and the Tiger caves, Aurbindo Ashram and Auroville

Today after breakfast, proceed to visit the major attractions the town, visit Mahishasurmardini caves, the Five Ratha temple (comprises of 5 monolithic temples in various patterns) and The Shore Temple. Also visit the other major attractions such as Arjuna’s Penance and the Tiger caves. En-route visiting Kanchipuram, The major Kanchipuram tourist attractions include visits to the Kailasanthar Temple, Ekambareshwarar Temple, The Vardarajanperumal Temple and the Sakkiswarar Temple.

After the visit leave for Pondicherry. Puducherry (previously called Pondicherry) charms tourists with its three lined avenues, painted colonial buildings and sea breeze. In 1974, the French built a base here. As on reaching Pondicherry, check-in at your pre booked hotels. Later visit Aurbindo Ashram and Auroville.

Day 3 Pondicherry – Tiruvannamalai via Chidambaram (About 106 Kms)

Tour Highlights: Natraj temple and drive to tiruvannamalai evening visit temple and Ramana Asharam

After breakfast drive to Tiruvannamalai via Chidanbaram enroute visiting Natraj Temple. On arrival check into your pre booked hotel and later visit temples and Ramana Ashram.

Day 4 Tiruvannamalai – Kumbakonam (About 171 Kms)

Tour Highlights: Murugan Temple in Swamimalai

Ahter breakfast, drive to Kumbakonam in Thanjavur District in Tamil Nadu. On reaching, check in to your pre booked hotel. Rest for a while, later in the day visit the Swamimalai Murugan Temple.

Day 5 Kumbakonam – Madurai via Tanjore (About 220 Kms)

Tour Highlights: Vairavan Kovil, Iraniyur, Karpaga Vinayakar, Kundrakudi Murugan, Kottaiyur Sivan and Kandanur Sivan temples, with each having its own unique deity

After having an early breakfast, drive straight to Madurai enroute visiting Tanjore It is the popular city of Tamil Nadu and an important centre of South Indian Art, culture and religion. Visit major tourist attractions such as Vairavan Kovil, Iraniyur, Karpaga Vinayakar, Kundrakudi Murugan, Kottaiyur Sivan, and Kandanur Sivan temples, with each having its own unique deity. On your arrival at check-in at your Hotel and freshen-up and relax.

Overnight at Madurai.

Day 6 Madurai - Thekkady (130 Kilometres)

Tour Highlights: Day at leisure

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Periyar. On arrival check into a jungle lodge. In the evening, enjoy bird watching while boat riding on the Periyar Lake where you can spot both resident and migratory birds.

Day 7 Thekkady

Tour Highlights: Periyar National Park

Today after breakfast go to Periyar National Park which renowned tiger and elephant reserve which is located at Idukki districts and Pathanamthitta in Kerala.
