Overview

Also known as Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is one of the most popular destination of Rajasthan. The sanctuary is renowned as the host to thousands of migratory birds especially during the summer season, apart from this, it is also the home of over 375 species of birds, including Pelicans, Cranes, Herons, Spoonbills and others. The sanctuary was established in 13 March 1956 under the name of Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. In 10 March 1982, the sanctuary was assigned as a national park and was named Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Later, this national park was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.  ‘Short Escape to Bharatpur’ will give you the chance explore this amazing sanctuary also enjoy the unforgettable experience of birdwatching
