Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Delhi (By flight)

Arrive at Delhi International Airport, and transfer to your pre booked hotel. On arrival check-in to the hotel & relax. Later, visit Old Delhi. Walk through the lanes to make your way to the spice market, Sikh temple Sheeshganj and Jama Masjid. After a wonderful day, return back to the hotel.

Day 2 Delhi – Bhubaneswar (By Flight)

Kickstart your day with a delicious hot breakfast and proceed to the airport. On arrival, you will be transported to the hotel from Bhubaneswar. Between the eighth and thirteenth centuries, 7000 temples were constructed in Bhubaneshwar. Rest of the time is free.

Overnight stay in Bhubaneshwar. 

Day 3 Bhubaneswar – Konark – Puri (Approx. 04 hours drive)

After breakfast, we will explore some of the best specimens of classical temple design, including the Lingraj, Rajrani, and Mukteshwar temples, before travelling via a tropical coastal region to the renowned Konark temples. The former centre of Buddhism in India was Konark. It is now well known for its Hindu temples. The revered Surya Temple is devoted to the god Surya (Sun). This temple was constructed in the thirteenth century by the ruler Langula Narasimha Deva. The Surya temple at Konark symbolises the full development of Odissi style and architecture and is the only example in India that stands alone as the most stunning without a rival. Driven to Puri after visiting this temple. Arrival at Puri in the late evening.

Day 4 Puri

Wake up refreshed after a tiring yesterday and enjoy a hot breakfast. One of the four most significant Hindu pilgrimage sites is Puri. We will go to the Puri Jagannath temple this morning. Every day, especially during "Rath Yatra," thousands of people flock to the temple of Lord Jagannath (God Vishnu), who is revered in Hinduism as the protector of the world (the car festival). Later, explore the Puri beach in the afternoon. One of India's best beaches is thought to be the Puri Beach. Due to its strategic location and religious significance, Puri Beach draws millions of tourists to India every year.

Day 5 Puri – Bhubaneswar – Kolkata (Approx. 1.5 hours drive and a flight)

Early in the morning, have breakfast and prepare for a fairly long day. You will drive to Bhubaneswar and explore Udaygiri and Khandagiri caves before boarding a flight to Kolkata. On arrival in Kolkata, check into the hotel and then proceed to visit the Birla Temple. Rest of the time is for leisure. You may visit Victoria memorial, Planetarium, Science Museum, etc. on your own.

Day 6 Kolkata

Today after breakfast, begin your day trip by exploring Kalighat. A well-known Kali temple called Kalighat can be found close to the Hooghly River. Visit the Dakshineswar Temple afterwards, where Rama Krishna Paramhamsa acquired his enlightenment. Visit the renowned Kolkata Jain Temple. During a brief break, you are free to eat whatever you choose of the local cuisine. While visiting Belur Math, enjoy the beauty of the Hooghly River from the Howrah Bridge.

Day 7 Kolkata – Gangasagar – Kolkata

After breakfast, we will go early in the morning for a full-day excursion to Gangasagar, where the Ganga enters into the sea. Discover the Kapileshwar Muni Ashram, one of the five Punya Dhams, which is regarded to have immense religious significance. Later, in the evening, return to Kolkata. Enjoy a night in Kolkata after arrival.

Day 8 Kolkata – Durgapur (Approx. 04 hours drive)

Enjoy a hot breakfast and checkout. You will be transferred to Durgapur. On arrival, check in the hotel and then head out to visit The Ram Mandir, Bhiringi Kali Bari Natmandir, and Shri Shri Jagannath Temple. Spend the rest of the time as you may like.

Overnight stay in Durgapur. 

Day 9 Durgapur – Deoghar – Gaya (Approx. 09 hours drive)

Wake up very early in the morning with a packed breakfast. Enjoy your meal on the way to Deoghar. This is the site of one of the 12 Jyotirlingas known as Vaidyanath, Baidyanath, or Vaijinath. According to Hindu mythology, Ravana used to worship Shiva in Deoghar to win the god's favour. Shiva was given each of Ravana's heads individually. Shiva gave Ravana darshan as a physician in appreciation for his sacrifice (Vaidhya). As a result, the shrine was given the name Vaidyanath. Pay respects at the revered temple and continue your journey to Gaya. Once you have arrived in Gaya by late evening, retire in the comforts of the hotel.

Day 10 Gaya/Bodhgaya

After a hearty breakfast, make a move to seek blessings at Vishnupad Temple. The footprints of Lord Vishnu (Dharmasila) have been kept for worship in an octagonal shrine in this 100 feet tall architectural wonder made of grey granite with eight rows of carved pillars. Also visit Sita Kund. Later, pay respects at the highly sacred temple in Buddhist faith- Mahabodhi Temple. Continue to visit Dungeshwari temple thereafter. Rest of the day is for leisure.

Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 11 Gaya/Bodhgaya – Nalanda – Rajgir – Gaya/Bodhgaya

This morning after breakfast, visit the holy shakti peeth of Mangla Gowri Temple. One of India's 18 Shakti Peethas is the temple dedicated to Mangala Gauri. This sacred shrine is devoted to Sati and is mentioned in holy scriptures including the Padma Purana, Vayu Purana, and Agni Purana. A part of Sati's body is thought to have fallen here, and as a result, in this temple it is worshipped as breasts. Later, enjoy an excursion to Nalanda where you will see the ruins of the Buddhist University. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Also visit Jal Mandir and Buddhist temples in Rajgir.

Return to the hotel in Gaya for overnight stay.

Day 12 Gaya – Patna (Approx. 3.5 hours drive)

After breakfast we will depart for the capital city of Bihar state- Patna. On arrival, check in and head out to explore the town. Visit the Sun Temple, Patan Devi Temple- from where Patna city gets its name and the ISKCON temple.

Stay for the night in Patna hotel.

Day 13 Patna – Sitamarhi – Patna

Spend the day on a full day excursion to Sitamarhi- where the only solo temple of Goddess Sita is located. There aren't many temples in India that worship Goddess Sita as their main goddess, but the Janki Mandir in the town of Sitamarhi has an everlasting connection to the Ramayana, a Hindu mythological epic. According to the Ramayana, Lord Rama returns to take Sita from the jungle after leaving her there and to bring her back to his realm. Goddess Sita then breaks the ground to return to her mother's lap. Over this ground, it was believed, the temple had been built.

After spending an eventful day, return to your accommodation in Patna for another overnight stay. 

Day 14 Patna – Delhi (By Flight)

Have a hot breakfast before checking out and making your way to Delhi. You will board the flight to Delhi. On arrival, head straight to visit the Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Later, transfer to the hotel and check in to relax. In the evening, proceed to visit the Akshardham Temple.

Stay for the night at Delhi hotel.

Day 15 Departure Day

On your last day of the tour, have breakfast and depart for the airport. En route, seek blessings at Birla temple. As you arrive at the airport, continue your journey to the next destination or back home. Tour & Services End.
